Just something random that happened….

Howdy there everyone,

Hope your all well. I have been ok. I went to the doctors a couple of weeks ago in regards to my foot (it had been in so much pain that when i walked it would hurt and I could barely move) and apparently there is 2 things wrong….

  1. I have a 4mm spur at the heel of my foot and it’s irritating one of the tendon things in my arch and that’s what was causing the pain in my foot.
  2. I am vitamin D deficient (that I had kind of guessed)

So now I have to take Vitamin D tablets to counteract the deficiency and my foot wise, i didn’t quite understand what he said but I have been walking alot more and therefore it hasn’t hurt quite so bad which is awesome Smile 

But that’s only one thing that has happened recently.

On Sunday I went out to lunch with some of my family and I put some jeans on that I have avoided wearing and mum turned around and said that I looked alot better then what I have been and that with my increased walking I’m looking alot trimmer (I don’t see it but hey) and then I went to lunch and my Aunty said exactly the same thing! I couldn’t believe it! I haven’t exercised in a week and this is what they said! WTH! I think maybe a slight change in my attitude has also helped and less takeaways which is awesome Smile I need to get back to exercising because I feel weird not doing it and I feel sluggish and horrible so at this point in time I’m just remaking my music playlist and uploading it so I can take the puppy out for a walk. Let’s see how that goes Smile

Thought I’d share with you some of the songs on my phone which make me want to push myself just that tiny bit more…..

These are my go-to songs when i need some motivation when I’m walking to make me push myself that much more. I am a wrestling fan and yeah, there are some wrestling theme songs there but wrestlers, when I see them do what they do and I hear some of their songs, actually make me want to be that more healthy and exercise alot more.
The GI JOE: RETALIATION soundtrack is pure awesomeness! I like the movie and when I got the soundtrack I found that the music made me want to go to a gym and work out and now when I’m out walking I can put that on and it makes me want to be in a special forces person lol.

And my personal fave is Fighter by Darren Criss! It just makes me want to defeat my demons and push myself to the absolute limit that I can take myself. All the bullying I have had throughout my life comes to fruition in that one song and makes me want to work as hard as I can to overcome what I need to Smile

Update #3

Howdy there guys and gals,

Hope you are all well. I know this is is a bit late but I’ve had some issues going on this week that took a tiny bit more priority. But no matter, here is Week 3’s update on weight and measurements……

  • Weight: 82kg 😦
  • Age: 26 yrs 3mon
  • Height: 1.66m
  • Chest: 41 inches
  • Waist: 37inches
  • Hips 42 inches
  • Body Fat %: 34%

Not happy but this is what I get for not doing my best exercise or healthy wise. I’m slowly getting back on track and as of today I have started to incorporate some running/jogging into my walks as well cause I can walk far while getting relatively puffed but I want to make it harder on myself and challenge myself some more so this seems as good as time as any.

And also this week I have been dealing with a sore foot which hasn’t helped matters. I went to the doctors and he sent me for blood test and also for xrays and so we shall see on Tuesday what he says. He thinks I’m deficient in Vitamin D so we shall see what the bloods come back with and my foot seems to be getting better so we’ll see….

Anyway, just thought I’d put that out there so you can see. Any suggestions on how to stay motivated would be greatly appreciated so feel free to put a comment in the below section and I will hopefully get back to you next week on how this goes 🙂

Records broken today

Howdy there everyone,

As I mentioned earlier (technically yesterday…) I have made it my no. 1 mission to get back on the healthy bandwagon and I started by helping my bf take his 2 dogs for a half hour walk Monday and yesterday. And also yesterday, and this is where the records come in, I went to Don Reserve and I RAN! When I say ran I mean jogged/walked but I made it all the way which is awesome! I don’t normally do that sort of thing so it’s awesome to me and it makes me want to improve on that.

Here are the records that I broke….

  1. What should be a 40-45 minute walk turned into a 27.49 minute walk/jog! So very proud as I have never done that before Smile
  2. My best time over 1km is now 8.01min/km which is awesome for me Smile

So you can see why I’m happy now. And I do feel better for doing it and it makes me want to do better so we shall see how that resolve goes.

I’ll let you know tomorrow.

 

Oh, I may not be happy tomorrow either. I have to go to nissan to get my mirrors replaced so goodness knows how I’ll be……

Update #2

Howdy there everyone,

I know tomorrow is weigh in number three and I am also very aware that I missed last weeks weigh in but truth be told, I was very disappointed with my results and it showed. I did weigh myself but I didn’t do body measurements (I better make sure I do them tomorrow otherwise I will be extremely down on myself.
Here is last weeks weigh in….

  • Weight: 82kg
  • Age: 26 years 3 months
  • Height: 1.66 metres
  • As I said, I am disappointed in myself. I haven’t been exercising as much which has annoyed me. Mind you, I also had mother nature calling so-to-speak so that really didn’t help matters but. But I have made the resolve that this week is going to be better. It already has been so far so you will just have to wait and see tomorrow.
